Azealia Banks Quits Rap
Azealia Banks hasn’t even dropped an official album yet, but she’s already done with rap. Banks proclaimed to be “no longer wishing to be a rapper,” stating that going forward she will be a “vocalist,” .

As previously reported, That as Bank’s career continues to pick up steam, Azealia Banks has cut ties with manager, Troy Carter—after only two months together. In April, the “Van Vogue” rapper announced that she was working with Carter, whose clients include Lady Gaga, but according to the New York Daily News, the business relationship is no longer.
After the report hit the news circuit, Carter released a statement to Billboard.biz confirming that he and Banks have gone their separate ways. “I can confirm that I ended the business relationship with Azealia last month on very amicable terms,” he said. “She’s incredibly talented and I wish her nothing short of an amazing career.”
While there’s no word yet on who her new manager will be, the 21-yer-old is still keeping busy, and is currently promoting her 1991 release.
