Test Confirms Lardarius Webb Torn ACL

Posted By Urban News Hour | October 16, 2012

Monday’s presser confirmed, that LCB Lardarius Webb is done for the season with a torn left ACL,. Says Ravens coach John Harbaugh

It’s the second ACL tear of Webb’s career, who shredded the ACL in his right knee during his rookie season nearly three years ago, will undergo surgery to repair his left knee with renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews, who performed his first knee reconstruction. The surgery has not yet been scheduled.

It’s a  blow for the Ravens, and a increasingly shaky defense, as Webb is easily the top cover corner for a unit that hasn’t been really successful at stopping the pass.
Lardarius Webb, just two days removed from his 27th birthday, signed a six-year, $53 million extension in April.
