Melanie Amaro, “X Factor USA ” winner has premiered the much anticipated music video for her latest single, “Don’t Fail Me Now.”

The music video was released online on Friday, and shows the bubbly Amaro walking down a road singing “feet don’t fail me now,” as she finds herself catching feelings for a young man and hoping for the best as she walks down the road of life.

“The song definitely describes the journey that I’ve had through life and throughout ‘X Factor,’ the determination of my feet that they can’t fail me, I gotta get to where I need to be,” said Melanie.

When Director Benny Boom first heard the song, he wanted the video to have movement and be a journey.

“I thought of a clever way of taking her on this journey, She’s no longer the ‘X Factor’ contestant, she is the winner, and I wanted to make sure that we made a video that showed that, ” said Boom.

It’s been a year since the 20-year-old songstress first tried out for the talent competition on the X Factor USA show, and fans were wondering where the star dissapeared to.

It turns out she was in a make-over boot camp for several months, and now with her very first music video released, it shows how far she’s come.

Since winning the title and a $5 million recording contract, she has been hard at work on an album due to be released before the end of the year, and has been featured in a Super Bowl ad for Pepsi alongside Elton John and Flavor Flav.

Thanking all of her friends and supporters, the young talent celebrated the video’s premiere via Twitter.

“Hey, go watch my new music video “don’t fail me now” on YouTube and Vevo! Thanks for the love and support,” said Amaro.

Melanie Amaro’s debut album is due in December via Epic Records.
